Seesaw Templates vs. Seesaw Activities

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

With over 120 Seesaw resources in my store, it has become a tool I use daily. From dedicated activities to sharing questions and tools with children, when our school signed up over five years ago it began to transform the way we teach.

Fast forward to now, and it is a dynamic, responsive platform that allows for the sharing and publishing of work to the highest standard.

When I started creating what are now known as Seesaw Activities five years ago, the option for interactivity simply didn't exist. It was a case of dropping templates into a journal page, and then teaching the children to 'copy and edit' the page - somewhat problematic with first graders. In my store, you will find some Seesaw products listed as 'templates'. This means it's a batch of PNG files that you'll upload into a Seesaw activity yourself. With such a high volume of activities, I decided to upgrade my bestsellers and load them into Seesaw, and make sure any other activities I make from now on go straight in there!

On my store, if you see a product listed as a Seesaw 'activity', then you know it's already loaded in Seesaw, and you will download a PDF file that will link to your activity. You'll just have to *Click | Save | Assign* the activity to your students!

With the functionality of Seesaw now, creating high quality, interactive activities and resources is so much more achievable, and can save you SO much prep time as an educator! Here are a few of my best-selling Seesaw Activities - click the image for more details.
